Q: iPhone back up question.

Can a backup of an iPhone that was stored in iTunes from my old iphone 5 be recovered using my Time Machine archives? I need it to restore data/apps/etc to my iPhone 6 which I had to restore yesterday since i do not see it in iTunes? I am not sure if I phrased this question correctly, so if anybody might be able to help but needs more information--please let me know. Simply put, I need to find out if it is possible to find a backup of my old iPhone 5 to restore my data to my iPhone 6 again.

Hi bobinramsey,

If you have a Time Machine backup of the previous iTunes backup of your iPhone, you may be able to go to the file location where iTunes stores its backups from within Time Machine and manually restore that backup file.
