Did you back them up to iTunes? Where they part of your Camera Roll or just part of your Photostream?

I just want you to be smart enough to answer the questions that bobwild, kb1951 and myself have asked you.
Where were these 3000 photos prior to you getting your iPhone 6? In the Camera Roll of your previous iOS device? In the Photostream on the device? Where did you last see these photos, exactly?
Have you been importing your photos to your computer? Have you been making iCloud or iTunes backups?

They never left. I backup yesterday morning. When I went to ATT, I restored the latest backup. Freaking contacts all are not there, and when I say that the girl that has worked for me for 3 years in NOT in my contacts and all photos except some that I moved to my iPad while in italy are in my photos and that is it.

iCloud restore can take hours to complete and if you leave the wifi connections that interrupts the restore process. and in that case you have to start over.
