Panic report when Yosemite boots, PLEASE HELP!

MBA won't startup, getting a panic report after a few seconds then continuous restarts, can't read the report or provide it in this question because its only visible for a split second, can't startup in safe mode or from recovery drive - so cant reinstall Yosemite. I've run the extensive Apple hardware test & no problems were encounted, tried resetting PRAM and SMC also but still no joy.

Please can someone help as i'm having a panic attack! :-)

Thank you.

I get Startup Manager - MacBook Air Disk & Recovery Disk & a connect to network pull down.

It would then be possible to startup in the Recovery Mode via this way, ie startup in the Recovery Disk, wait for it to load and start the Disk Utilities. Then to perform disk check/repair with it, and afterwards permission check/repair.

Try that now. Nothing should happen to your data during this process. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Let us know.

Hi Fearny,

Just read through all the posts on the thread again. The MacBook Air does not have a discrete Graphics card, thus using RAM as well. Could you remove one of your RAM modules, and try again? Thereafter, after trying both separately, change them around, see if they are properly seated. You could also use a pencil rubber to clean the edges but don't let these fall into the back of your Mac. Ensure that they are properly seated.

Start the Mac in Safe Mode. U don't have to log in. It might take a bit of time. Reboot and login as normal if successful.

Have fun
