Removing screen protector from Otterbox

Has anyone removed the factory screen protector from their Otterbox defender case? I currently have a Zagg high def. screen protector on my ipad air 2 & I'd like to use it with the otterbox . I wasn't sure if removing the factory included screen protector would result in the device not fitting properly. Thanks for any words of wisdom 🙂

I have an iPad Air 2 and I am using the OtterBox Defender case with it. Not using the built in screen protector will not work. The screen protector snaps onto the back. The rubber molding would not wrap around the case. So basically you will end up with an iPad that sits loosely on a back case that does not snap onto anything at all.

But if you are talking about just removing the clear screen protect itself, it might be possible, but it would void the warranty and might expose the iPad glass or bezel to glue residue,
