Jan 16, 2015 1:47 PM in response to liju93by geralhic,Thank you for this. Having done what you say, I noted if I scroll further down on Do Not Disturb, it says
SILENCE:
Always
Only when iPhone is locked
And its checked against one or the other, but doesn't give me the option to uncheck it?
Almost there now hopefully..!!

Jan 17, 2015 9:11 AM in response to geralhicby ChrisJ4203,When you unlock the phone and are looking at the home screen, if you press the up or down volume button, what do you see? It should say ringer, then a bar at the bottom showing how far the volume is turned up.
The ability to change those settings in Do Not Disturb are only available when Do Not Disturb is turned on, and they are only active when Do Not Disturb is on, not when it is off.
Secondly, make sure the mute switch on the side of the device is not turned on to block the ringing. See this fugure.
