Please can someone help me with a Bose ipod dock which has a new lightening connector. My ipod uses the old type and I cannot find an adapter this way around?

I tried 2 of these and neither work. Its a shame that Apple don't support retrospectively.

As far as I know Apple does not make adapters that goes from lightning to 30 pin (regular)

i have tried two, one from Amazon and one from Ebay, neither work. I don't want to buy a new ipod as really happy with the one I have, any other ideas?
You could get a new dock for less money but not as good but that is your only other choice I guess
