I have epub, finally put my ebook together and it's too big to email ugh! So I opened it in ibooks but everything is everywhere 😟 Do I need to purchase ibooks author? is it free? or is there another option? I just want it to stay how it is and be able to email it.
iBooks Author is free, and it might give you a more stable layout, but I doubt it will make your book smaller. Same for any other app, there is no reason to expect it to make a smaller book.
If you have something too big to email, you have to remove material or use some other method, like dropbox to let people download it.

epub + email = fail. ibooks = fail too
