Q: I cannot enter my password to enter my mac

Hello everyone,

I hope you can help me with this... I recently installed an ssd and reinstalled osx. following a restore of my whole system from my time machine, i was asked to log in using my apple id which brought me to my user log in screen however my password is now incorrect? there is a prompt to use my apple id to reset password but the arrow to go to the reset screen doesn't do anything??
