Open Time Machine System Preferences and set the disk and turn it on.
Open Time Machine preferences to configure it.
I opened Time Machine under System Preferences. I click on Select Backup Disk and get a box that says "Other Airport Time Capsule. Set up an Airport Time Capsule that is not listed here." Nothing is listed. When I click on Set up, I get "No configured Airport base stations have been found."
This never happened before the OSX upgrade to Yosemite.
So, you have a Time Capsule?
Can you see the Time Capsule from within the Finder?
No, I don't have a Time Capsule. Now I remember that I have an external hard drive that connects to the USB, which I don't have with me at the time while I'm traveling. Aha! I need to find that sleek hard drive when I return and and plug it in. Oops. Case solved.
Thanks all for your help.
