Jan 17, 2015 6:04 AM in response to espi24by Smokerz,select the x to stop it then select eject for the iPhone. Disconnect the usb from Mac. Reconnect and try sync will work. Also you can turn off auto lock feature on the iPhone when you are syncing, do beforehand.

Any ideas?

Jul 18, 2015 9:52 AM in response to espi24by Mark and Montse,I had this problem for a while and tried a lot of this stuff.
I was later on a call with Apple Support about something else and asked about this, and she had me switch to a different cable and a different port and that time it worked just fine.
Maybe that will help someone?!
