Can't see my computer from the Apple Tv although home sharing is on in both devices and I can choose Apple Tv as an output from my computer.

does the apple TV menu show up on the TV?
make sure that the firewall in the mac and the router allow the required ports
TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products - Apple Support
As I change laptops, can it be that the AppleTv is still looking for the library in my old MAC? How can unpair that comouter and pair the new one?

Hello. Since I bought my new MacBook Pro I am having issues with the home sharing with Apple TV. I can't access my computer from the Apple Tv, although both home sharing options are on. I can choose Apple Tv as an output from my MAC though.
