My iTunes will not authorize one single song.

My iTunes will not authorize specific songs throughout my purchases - but it's random songs such as ONE on a complete album that I purchased. I have zero issues with the rest of the album.

I follow the prompted message to authorize - it says I already am authorized.

I've followed the links on these forums suggestions - trashed the SC Info folder. Made sure it was purchased by my account. Etc. Nothing, absolutely nothing, will play this song. I'm starting to get so irritated.

Help, please.

Delete and redownload those songs if doing so is free in your country.

try reinstalling itunes. (you won't loose your library by doing so). www.apple.com/itunes

I just fixed this a second ago. What worked for me: Delete the song from your computer, send the file to the trash.

Go to your purchased song on iTunes, you'll find it to the left of your iTunes search bar.

In the purchased section choose "Not In my Library" and filter by "Album" or Song". Or you can just search the song.

Click the cloud image if for which ever song you want to download or click "Download All" at the bottom right.

THIS WORKED FOR ME. I'M NOT AN EXPERT. HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU! 🙂

Thanks for the suggestions! I will look into all of these options after work!

I'm thinking you're all right and it has to do with my specific iTunes downloaded on my computer or the file of some sort- because I've logged into my iTunes account at work and the song PLAYS! What?? So bizarre! So it's clearly about my iTunes setup - and maybe deleting is the way to go. I'll start with the song first then iTunes itself.
