Safari Error Message: A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded

why do you hate me so much Apple/Safari?! It's gotten to the point that I have to post on here. It's very annoying. I expect much better from Apple. Almost considering switchimg browsers but I have a hard time not using Apple products. Please fix this. I've searched for fixed n nothing.

Hey everardofromvass,

Are you are getting the error from one or multiple sites? One option is to force close the Safari app.

Force an app to close in iOS - Apple Support

If after that Safari is still having trouble loading site you may want to follow this article.

Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

As a last step it may end up needing to to be restored to factory.

Thanks for the response! I'm not having any issues on OS X it's just on my iPhone. I don't use my iPad much so I don't know if it's on that (still running iOS 7 on that tho). I've never installed anything that doesn't come from the App Store and only use Safari and other apple software on it. I'm close to resetting my phone and starting from scratch. I'd hate to do that on a brand new phone and have never had issues with any of my Apple products (Time Capsule, iMac, iPad, macbook pro, iPhones, apple tv, etc.) especially since I bragg so much about them to owners of the other inferior stuff! Thanks!

In most threads I've seen about this, and about incessant tab and app reloading/relaunching, nobody seems to want to do much more than suggesting standard diagnostics and resets, but... These are byproducts of OS8 hungrily exposing the laughably small amount of RAM in the older iPad and iPhone hardware.

You migh have better luck with all other apps closed, and all other tabs in Safari closed, too.. Or you might do a little better with other browsers, but I think you'll otherwise be left like many of us, wishing we'd never updated the OS.

Same problem. Happens on many many different sites. Very annoying. I've done everything, including numerous power cycles and a complete reset to factory defaults. It seems to be related to JavaScript, but who knows. With the number of people complaining about this, I find it hard to believe Apple developers aren't experiencing the same issue. I want my iPhone back (the one that actually worked). iPhone6+ fully updated.

I have only recently had this problem on my iPad Mini but not on my iPhone 6. It is very annoying and makes it almost impossible to access the Web. It's true that if you disable Java the problem goes away, but then you might as well disable the device since your access to content is limited. I've upgraded to iOS 8.4 on my Mini but not on my iPhone. I suspect that this might be where the problem lies since one works well and the other doesn't. Of course, I have a problem with AT&T's network jamming up also making it impossible to go online. That affects both devices. I certainly am not going to upgrade iOS on my phone unless or until this problem is resolved. Do you think Apple is burying its head in the sand with this issue? If I never have to upgrade OSs, it won't matter on my phone, but at some point that might not be an option. Sorry I did it on my Mini now. It worked fine before. Does anyone know if an earlier version of the OS can be reinstalled if taken to an Apple store?
