Battery strange behaviour

I've been experiencing battery issue for the past few weeks.

My phone would shut down at random battery % (60%, 45% etc...). If I try to turn on the iphone again, I can't. It shows to plug it to Itunes. But after a few minutes, it turns on and battary % is back to the level at which it shut down.

I can't use my phone more than 5min latery. While using the weather app, or whatsapp, or safari, the phone shuts down.

Is it a battery problem (my battery is dead?) or a calibration problem? I can play music for 2-3 hours no prob.

Hey Súbastien,

If you are having an issue with your iPhone shutting down unexpectedly, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

If your iOS device restarts, displays the Apple logo, or powers off while you're using it - Apple Support

In particular, since you mention that you are already using the latest version of iOS -

If you still see this issue after updating, contact Apple Support.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Be well,

Brett L
