Bluethooth stays on search

Hi was pairing a Galyxy 5, I made my IPad discoverable for this. Then number code was shown we click ok and tree things happened;

1) Failure to pair note on galaxy

2) My IPAD wont stop searching for devices

3) I pad wont set time zone automatic, it keeps searching

A resent was done and a recovered from Back up Iclud, But no luck, was thinking on erasing all as new no backups. can this be done?

iPad Mini, iOS 8.1.2

What are you trying to do this is what ios support in terms of Bluetooth profiles without third party apps

I was trying to get a pic from a friend via BT;

my concern now is my IPAD got stuck it searching mode and wont jump out of it. It stays discoverable and searching for devices.

I did reset network; Did not work;

I did a reset all and then I did a back up from cloud. ; Didn't work

Thinking of a reset as new Item, ...and no back up
