I think you mean "Flashmall", which is one variant of some common adware affecting Macs right now. For removal instructions, see:

I have just used AdwareMedic and it appears to have removed Flashamail completely.

It is free to use and asks for donations, I will see if it stays clear and then donate as it seems good.
