Q: How do I get my iPhone to update my new user name and password from my iMac? My iMav and iPhone 5S are synced.

I have tried multiple time to update my Apple ID password on my iMac which I have done successfully. I am unable to change the username or password on my iPhone 5S as it stubbornly prompts me to sign in iCloud with the old user name and pw which I do not have. My iPhone is virtually unusable on my home wifi due to the constant prompt to sign in with the OLD user & pw which I can't update.

I am not fully conversant with computers, but I have a reasonable knowledge of my iMAC . The Apple help chat line is useless IMO.

Help me plse?

If your iPhone continues to prompt for your old account and password then check out the following article.

If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
