Is this fibre to basement. And then using VDSL?

What vdsl modem or other device do they give you? Is it a router or a pure modem?

If you need to do PPPOE on the airport the plain horrible truth is it may not work.. TPG have the worst PPPOE in the world.. although I have so far only dealt with their ADSL and the support people would be lucky to figure out how to tie their shoelaces.

Get another router.. bridge the airport to it and see if that works. It mostly will .. I have to use my apple routers that way.

Sorry your post got buried between the black magic and the astrologer spam.. although perhaps a bit of voodoo might help.

Thanks for the response.

Got it working after some trial and error, ended up going to the PPPoe settings and all I had to do in the end was put my TPG user name and password in.

The only trouble I am having is IPv6 relay error (not a clue what that means tho)

Pretty happy with the speed tho. on the router they gave me i was getting download speeds of 72mbs now on the Airport extreme i am getting around 96-97mps and upload of 28-33mbs. I also use Unblock-us and it seems to be running faster after set it up with that.

Thanks again
