Jan 19, 2015 2:42 AM in response to Becky Laingby Ingo2711,Did you already check the iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ ?
-
Jan 19, 2015 2:50 AM in response to Ingo2711by Becky Laing,Yes - 'Upload to My Photo Stream' is turned on within settings on my iPhone. On my PC the iCloud account has photos 'My photo stream' ticked. My Photostream went when I turned on iCloud Photo Library (Beta). The FAQ does explain that My Photo Stream would be replaced by 'All Photos'. My iCloud account says that there is 1,423 photos and 23 videos uploaded. It's just the last step of physically seeing these on my PC that I'm stuck with. If you can help with this one, it would be really appreciated. Many thanks, Becky.

Jan 19, 2015 3:12 AM in response to Becky Laingby Ingo2711,Did you check this location?
On your PC with My Photo Stream on in the Control Panel, all of your photos will import into
C:\\Users\<user name>\Pictures\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream

Jan 19, 2015 8:18 AM in response to Becky Laingby Ingo2711,Did you install the latest software?
PC:- Open iCloud for Windows 4.0 (or iCloud Control Panel) and select the checkbox for Photos.
- Click the Options button and make sure that My Photo Stream is on and adjust the settings.
- Click Apply when you're done.
- In Windows, My Photo Stream photos are automatically imported when My Photo Stream is turned on in iCloud for Windows (or iCloud Control Panel).
Did you try to upload photos from the PC side?
- PC with iCloud for Windows 4.0 (or iCloud Control Panel 3.1): Open a Windows Explorer window and, under Favorites, select iCloud Photos. Open My Photo Stream. Click the Add photos button. Select the photos to import to My Photo Stream, then click Open.

Jan 20, 2015 3:26 AM in response to Ingo2711by Becky Laing,I've followed all the instructions and I can confirm that both 'My Photo Stream' and 'iCloud Photo Sharing' are ticked. Still no photos.
I thought it might be that old photos are not transferring, however, even the photos I took yesterday haven't turned up in 'recent updates'. A new folder for 'Family - shared by me' has appeared after I activated my family sharing option on my phone last night.
I've been through all the FAQ, and I can't work out what I'm missing. Can you think of anything else?

Jan 20, 2015 4:24 AM in response to Becky Laingby Ingo2711,It might be a long shot, but maybe removing and reinstalling the iCloud software on the PC can help?
Copy your photos from your phone to your PC, just in case:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
After that deactivate the photo stream, reinstall the software on the PC and activate the whole photo stream setup again.

Jan 20, 2015 11:36 PM in response to Ingo2711by Becky Laing,All removed and reinstalled. I even left my computer on overnight in the hope that it might be a once every 24 hours that it updates. Still no photos.
Is there no way of forcing the update/download to happen?
Thank you for your help so far. Becky.

Jan 21, 2015 12:10 AM in response to Becky Laingby Ingo2711,Check this one as well, I guess your computer and iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi and the phone has more than 20% battery power left.

Jan 22, 2015 12:09 PM in response to Ingo2711by Becky Laing,Yes - same WIFI and enough power.
I'm lost on this one. Don't think I'm going to buy an iPad now. I was in love with my iPhone until now!
I can't even transfer the photos via the connector, as the power inlet got damaged and now only certain chargers will charge the phone and my PC won't recongnise that my iPhone is connected.
Wired or unwired - not getting anywhere!
Thank you for all your help, all the same.

Jan 22, 2015 12:48 PM in response to Becky Laingby Ingo2711,Are you using the original USB cable that came with the phone? Apple made some changes in the iOS software and some 3rd party accessory will not work anymore with Apple devices because the manufacturers did not seem to fulfill the tech specs.
If your docking port does not work anymore, maybe checking the phone will also bring some new insights to the photo stream issue.

Jan 23, 2015 3:37 AM in response to Ingo2711by Becky Laing,Well yes and no. The cable is original, but the phone is a replacement. The screen cracked so I took it to an approved apple mobile repair place. They managed to break it further, hence they replaced it with a new iPhone 5c from apple.
Is it worth me paying the £25 and getting someone in apple to help me?
