change a long URL to simple words in an email

Using MAIL - how do I change a long URL to a few simple words for someone to click on?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

Go to Tinyurl

http://tinyurl.com

Paste in your original long URL, it converts it to a short URL.

Select the option

give your recipients confidence with a preview TinyURL:

Distribute the short URL

Thank you. I also discovered it is as easy as typing in the words you want your recipient to see, right click on it, choose add hyperlink and then add the URL you want the words to link to.
