Suddenly I have over 200 mails in Drafts showing up. These are actually mails that had been sent out and the Drafts are may be vom 10 to 20 emails in their various writing statuses. These happened before once in a while in low quantities (10-40) but now with increased frequency and numbers (latest 206!). What is the problem - solution?
Have posted a similar question - i get OCCASIONAL emails which are definitely 'sent' showing up in drafts. I have IMAP email (including an iCloud account).
Same here. Could the problem be related to iCloud? Assume you are also still waiting for a solution!
From the Mail menu bar, select
Mail ▹ Preferences... ▹ Accounts ▹ Mailbox Behaviors
and uncheck the box marked
Store draft messages on the server

The exact same thing happening to me now. I go directly to the server to verify that the message(s) have been sent. They do send. I ignored it for a while, but on top of that, Apple Mail is not updating my inbox.
I'm still doing some research.
