Q: icloud has my old e-mail address for id but i have forgotten password

icloud on my iphone has still my old e-mail address as its ID, but I have forgotten password and I want to change the ID to my me e-mail address, but when I go to my icloud on my iphone and try to delete, it asks for my password. Can anyone help?

You can reset the password of your old Apple ID using the steps in this article -

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you want to change the Apple ID in use on your iPhone, use the steps in this article -

Sign in with a different Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
