I tried to use the camera connection kit with my new ipad 2 air using the adapter for lightning but does not work. The same accessory works rather well with an ipad 3.How can I fix the problem?Thanks

The Camera Connection Kit (USB) with the Lightning Adapter works fine on my iPad Air 2.
What happens when you try to use it?
With the ipad air 2 nothing happens, with both the reader and with the USB connector. But with the iPad 3 everything works fine. Both have installed iOS 8.1.2.
Strange, I'm also using iOS 8.1.2. Perhaps there is a problem with your Adapter Cable or some lint or debris in the iPad lightning socket or adapter socket.
My lightning adapter is not original but it does not appear any message, and works regularly with a 30-pin cable is for charging and for connecting to itunes. Only when I put the camera connection kit, nothing happens.
Very likely caused by the 3rd party adapter.
But it does not give me any error message and not only works with the camera connection kit. Given that even the camera connection kit is not original, but it works very well with the ipad 3, how can I know which one accessory is not compatible with the new ipad air 2? I would not have to buy all new accessories.
I have an iPad Air 2 and am unable to get it to connect to my Canon 50D through the camera connector kit... I have a 4 GB compact flash card in the camera. It worked a couple of times after I got the ipad, but won't work now.
