App links not showing up in iMessage

About a couple of weeks ago I noticed that I can no longer send links to apps from the App Store. When I click the square icon with arrow (as I always have) and select "Message", the message interface pops up and all I see in the text field is the app's name but NOT the actual link.

Anyone has anything similar happened to them? Any ideas?
