Jan 20, 2015 1:01 PM in response to Dr Calibanby Kurt Lang,Your bank accounts, social security number, credit card numbers and other personal information aren't important enough for you to protect with passwords?
Perhaps you don't read or watch the news. Strong, hard to guess passwords are the only thing between you a criminal easily turning your life into identity theft.
I use 1Password for that chore. You only have to remember one good password while you're using your computer to open 1Password for use in your browser. For sites you need protection on, you can assign long, obnoxious passwords you don't have to remember. 1Password fills them in for you.

Jan 20, 2015 1:05 PM in response to Dr Calibanby babowa,If you don't want to use them, I'm sure someone would be happy to remotely control your computer and enter all the information you've given them for you. Your SSN, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, etc. would be sold and resold and quite a few people would benefit financially.
I'd suggest you put up with the "inconvenience" and don't experience someone stealing your identity. Personally, I would not trust an online server to keep such information safe - any server can and will be hacked into sooner or later.

Jan 20, 2015 1:12 PM in response to Dr Calibanby Dr Caliban,I Appreciate everyone's advice, but the decision whether to use passwords or not should be my decision. I still hate passwords and want to eliminate them. Call me crazy.

Jan 20, 2015 1:24 PM in response to Dr Calibanby Kurt Lang,I gave you one. Use a password manager such as 1Password. The only password you have to remember is the one you create to allow access to the app. It remembers all of the other ones you need for you.
