i have lost my music collection however i do have a i pod classic thats linked to a account i do not have access to with my music content on it how can i get my music content back

You should be able to transfer any purchased content that you have on your iPod classic by having it plugged in and in iTunes go to the drop down menu File > Devices and an option shows up to Transfer Purchases. You also should be able to download any past purchases from the iTunes Store. For more information on both of these options, take a look at the articles below.
