Q: anyone having a problem with ical where it automatically switches your time zone to GMT?

Every time either myself or my wife enters an event into the calendar app it automatically changes the time zone from New York to GMT. Is anyone else having this problem because I'm starting to get extremely frustrated?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.1.2, Also used on Mac

Hey Helmet20,

The article linked below provides some great information about the Time Zone Override feature, which may resolve the issue that you’re seeing with incorrect time zones applied to events created in the Calendar app.

my phone was doing that after I traveled abroad, I had to go into the settings and override the time zone setting it back to where I was.
