mac book late 2010 hard drive failure cant recover the os

Hello all! My mac hard drive seems to have died i tried the do internet recovery, used flash drives with the boot assistant and ought a new ssd drive and still nothing can some help me figure out how to get my system up and running. System info is 250 gb 5400 toshiba hard drive, 16gb ram and whatever was the last os before yosemite.

MacBook (13-inch Mid 2010)

Unless you did the firmware upgrade you cannot use internet recovery Computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery - Apple Support

You'll need the install discs to partition and format the SSD before you install it. If you don't have them you can buy a retail Snow Leopard disc here http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard From there you can upgrade to Yosemite for free as Mountain Lion is no longer available.
