Jan 22, 2015 7:50 AM in response to madrick1133by Lawrence Finch,Note that iPhones are not unlocked with a code. Sprint unlocks it directly in the master database of iPhones, you then restore iOS on your phone using iTunes to complete the unlock.

Jan 22, 2015 7:52 AM in response to madrick1133by ManSinha,Sprint is notorious for not unlocking its devices for domestic use

You are better off selling your phone or trading it in if you want to switch carriers
Of course if you are going on an international trip and want it unlocked - Sprint will do that for you temporarily
I was with Sprint and so I know how they operate
