Jan 21, 2015 7:12 AM in response to matthellewellby lllaass,Just note that you can only mix 4 GB and 8 GB sticks. You can't mix a 16 GB stick or higher with 4 or 8 GB sticks. See the Special Note on:

Jan 21, 2015 7:16 AM in response to Smokerzby Grant Bennet-Alder,The Mac Pro late 2013 can do memory upgrades by the each module (as demonstrated by them shipping with three instead of four) The speedup for installing matched pairs does exist, but is quite small.
Don't buy 4GB, you will end up throwing it away when you go larger. Buy an 8GB module for just over twice the price.
Don't try to mix 16GB modules, they are Registered DIMMs and do not play nice with others.

If in the US, you could also buy OWC/Macsales and be well supported.
Or buy Datamem and get just as good service and save some money.
