I have six children who have access to my new iPhone 6. I just got it two days ago and I am afraid to use it without a case. It seems much more fragile than my previous iPhone which was a 4s. What is the best waterproof or water resistant case that also protects against damage from being dropped? Thanks!
I won't say which is the best, since I don't have a 6, and would not want to be responsible for your choice, but Otterbox and LifeProof both have water resistant cases. Check them out.
Thanks! I have been researching cases, and as you know, the internet can be a scary place to do that. Mixed reviews for everything, some people say a specific case is awful, some say it is great - but who to believe?
The only case I have any information about is the Lifeproof. My son has one and has not had any issues with it regarding water or dropping, and at 23, he can still be clumsy. I've used Otterbox in the past, and they are good for protection, but I've not encountered the new ones which are supposed to be water resistant. Hope that helps.

They are the same company these days. Otterbox bought out Lifeproof about 18 months or so ago.
LIfeproof seems to be pretty much the standard.

So, far, so good! Hope yours is going well. And, if you live in the Northeast, don't bother going out. It's cold.
I've not looked, but that price would make me wonder, considering the Otterbox and Lifeproof usually run around $80, I would wonder how water resistant it would be for $22. And, I don't recall hearing of that manufacturer before.
A waterproof case isn't something I'd skimp on, either. Like buying a cheap charger, it's a false economy.
I thought that if i bought the most expensive case for my iPhone that it would be for the best but i dropped my phone a few times outside and the case busted... so much for spending $80! I then decided to get something that was cheaper from amazon and I am very impressed with how my new $20 case is holding up! I got the Merit waterproof case! I highly recommend it!!!
