Friend got text from me that I didn't send?!

Today at work my friend said to me "sure let's go to Starbucks Monday" and I said I didn't ask him to go to Starbucks, and he showed me a text her received from my phone saying "let's go to Starbucks and check it out" from around 1:30 in the morning... I never sent that text, typed it or sent it to anyone else, and there's no record in my phone of me sending that! There was another time that I had typed something to him and it sent around the same time at night without me actually sending it... so I have no idea what's going on. I've changed my iCloud and Google passwords (he has an Android)... anyone have any idea what the heck is going on?

It was a text - he has an Android. There's no record of the text on my phone so there is no "green bubble". This all said, he just got a new phone because his old one was acting up (this happened on his old phone) so maybe someone else sent him the text and it showed up as me? Who knows.

It's possible there's something wrong with either your phone account or his, then. Not going to be a problem with your phone or Apple ID, though. And it certainly could have been a glitch/issue on his old phone, too.

I wouldn't be concerned unless it happens with his new phone also.
