addictional content empty window in 10.1

addictional content empty window in 10.1

hello everyone, i just made a new clean installation of logic x on the new 10.1 version. Didn't text all the functionality yet but i immediately start with this problem: when i try to download addictional content the window is empty (black), doesn't show any of the extra content, i try several restart, different internet connections, but nothing solved my problem, i've also check the firewall and there's no limitations for incoming connection in logic, please help me 😟

Same thing here. When putting a Drummer in a new track, however, Logic started to download a big pack of additional content. But it seems it was only the new stuff related to Drummer. I'm still missing the Mellotron for instance.

So, no information yet from apple? thats very bad at all, this is a professional software for people that work with music, but now it looks more like a joke.

I've tried to reinstall Logic again but that doesn't solve my problem

I've also tried to delete the 2 logic preference files, but with no luck, i'm almost desperate

I backed up 10.0.7, opened it, there the additional content downloader works, but its not showing new content as was expected

how do you return to 10.0.7? i bought Logic from the app store today, normally i work with logic in the studio but the Mac wasn't mine 😟, i just decide today to buy my own copy for personal use... very bad idea...

So you mean you don't have any "extras" at all (the sounds and stuff that came along the previous version)? That is of course not good.

For me, I'm only missing the Mellotron as far as I can tell, and I have everything I had before updating, so it's not a big deal. I have a vague memory of the additional downloads not working for some people during a previous Logic X update, and that it was fixed within a day or two. I'm confident there will be a fix soon.

I guess this is why a lot of pros, who depend on the software on a daily basis, shy away from first-day-upgrades. That's wise I guess, but I like living on the edge... 😉

yes, i've no sounds at all, yes this is my mistake, but i see that nowadays the situation with updates (generally talking) is getting worse and worse. This isn't a new software but only an update and the worse thing is that the producer is the same of the operative system and the hardware, so you expect they have all the knowledge to develop bug-free software
