at this time, I would not reinstall or anything else that this did not instruct.

Open the Internet Accounts or Mail, Contacts & Calendars pane in System Preferences. If any Contacts accounts are shown, make a note of the settings, then delete the accounts and recreate them. You may get a warning that the contacts will be deleted from the Mac. They should still be on the server, and will reappear when the account is recreated.
