Q: Can I jump from OSX 10.6 to OSX 10.8 without installing 10.7 first?

I have an iMac desktop 3.2 GHz and Core i3 processor running OSX 10.6.8.

Can I update to OSX 10.8 directly or do I have to install OSX 10.7 before going to 10.8?

iMac, iOS 6.1.6
