Q: Best way to connect TWO Asus PA248Q monitors to Mid 2012 NON RETINA MBP 15"

FIRST OFF, I APOLOGIZE FOR A QUESTION THAT SEEMS TO BE OUT THERE A LOT.

I have a mid 2012 NON RETINA MBP 15". I have an  Asus Pa48q monitor connected via thunderbolt right now. I want to get a second one since the monitor is a good price and is a decent monitor for design. Now, I have seen posts of people using the Startech card adapter:

But, I have read that since this adapter connects to the MBP via USB that would degrade the quality. The monitors have 1920x1200 Resolution.

Basically I want to run two monitors on my MBP. Anyone have any ideas? Is the StarTech adapter my best option?

I am a graphic designer, so I run two Adobe programs usually at once and I have iTunes up and internet going all at same time. I am getting 16gb of RAM and have a 2.6ghz quad i7. If that helps in an answer.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), 8gb RAM - 2.6ghz i7
