Q: An error occurred while partitioning the disk

I'm trying to Partition using Boot Camp.

I have spent hours reading how to fix this! I have tried booting into Single User Mode and Verifying/Repairing my Hard Drive. Neither have worked.

Help Please!

I see that you may be experiencing an issue when attempting to create a Windows partition. I do have an article for you that may help resolve this issue:

The worst case scenario is to take a backup of the your current OS X installation to Time Machine, and eras the internal disk and restore. This error can occur because you do not have sufficient contiguous space for partitioning the internal disk.
