I failed to upload a 25 minute iMovie to Youtube

Depending on your internet connection - uploading can take longer than downloading - so YouTube disconnect you or did you stop the upload because it seemed to be taking to long?
Keep in mind - broad band providers give you download speeds - never say anything about upload.
It said my video was too large after uploading it however even with fast internet it took a long time to upload
Any suggestion how to compress it?
Just a couple minutes surfing - YouTube only allows 15 minute videos from general users -- to upload larger apparently you have to be a trusted long time source. There is also a restriction on the file size.
YouTubes help section should give you all the details.
I don't watch online videos - so I just used a query in ASK.Com to get some quick tips.
