Q: find my phone

Someone told me that if someone tries to use the phone after blocked that it will take a snapshot of them but I cant find any info on this. Is this true?

My phone was taken and i traced it. I could se that someone found it and walked around a little in the very near vicinity, stopping, starting etc but then it started moving down the street. I panicked and decided to block the phone. when in blocked mode, does it still show you where the phone is? it was not showing 'offline".

It took a day and a half for it to go dead and 'offline". The phone stayed in one place very close to where it went missing. The police wont do anything as they say they need to give time for some to return it to police or to me. I have put flyers up outside the spot where find my phone says the phone was just before it died. My question is: if someone turns it on, will their photo be taken? Will I be warned?
