Mac OS X telnet connection & port

Hi all,

this is a question mainly regarding to all those, who are telling likely "you don't need a telnet app for Mac OS, it's already integrated":

I know about the telnet feature in the Terminal, but i got the following question:

How can i connect a user defined port? With the ssh connection you just need to add the port by "-p xxxxx" - but this does not work for a telnet connection, at lest for me.

Does anyone know about it?#
