Q: Administration Password

Mac OS X has a very different way of administrating passwords from Mac OS 9, and there are even differences from Mac OS X 10.6 to Mac OS X 10.5.8 and earlier. Please post in the appropriate forum, or figure out the age of your Mac which will give you a general idea what operating system may be installed.
If it is Mac OS X installed, finding your operating system is as easy is finding your Darwin version with command-S at startup.
