Jan 23, 2015 9:49 AM in response to Old Toadby Templemeads,Hello Old Toad! Thank you for your help. I'm not sure how to check the account folder in the hosting service but even before I get that far, the folder on my desktop doesn't have anyhting which looks (to me) like a movie. They are all css, png files.

Jan 23, 2015 11:56 AM in response to Templemeadsby Old Toad,How are you uploading the files to the server? With iWeb 2 you'll need a 3rd party FTP client and many of those offer a Finder link window of the account folder on the server.
Or you can use the free Cyberduck to upload your files and view the various folders making up your website.

Jan 23, 2015 12:14 PM in response to Old Toadby Templemeads,The files are going into a folder and then to the server via Cyberduck. I have done this many times, but never with a movie on the site.
The 'bar' with stop start and volume control appears on the live sitr, but no movie!

Jan 23, 2015 2:13 PM in response to Templemeadsby Old Toad,★HelpfulDoes the movie play in the webpage from the site files on your hard drive? If it does then the problem lies with the upload of the movie file. you can find out which folder the movie should be in as it will be titled "Media" in the folder for that page that contains it. If that's the case you can manually upload it via CyberDuck to the correct media folder via drag and drop in the CyberDuck window.
A thought: first try clearing your browser's cache (Command+Option+E for Safari) and then reload the page.
