If next to Condition it says "Check Battery" then your battery is probably on the fritz.

Jan 24, 2015 3:41 AM in response to Bears1to3by OGELTHORPE,You may open your MBP and check inside. Often an older MBP will have dust and debris inside that promotes retaining heat. If so clean it out. Pay attention to the fans.
