Q: Messages not opening OS X 10.10.2

Just turned on my computer and when trying to open the Messages app on my iMac it doesn't want to open and stays loading. Nothing pops up and when I right click on the icon in the dock it only gives me the option to Force Quit.

I have tried relaunching the Finder and the command killall -KILL Dock

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Hello ishadoe,

You may need to force quit and relaunch the Messages app.

If you're using the beta of 10.10.2, you should submit feedback through the included Feedback Assistant application.
