Spectrum analyzers for GarageBand?

I'm looking for a spectrum analyzer that I can use in GarageBand to monitor individual tracks to determine if and where I need to pull and push frequencies. Can anybody give me some recommendations?

I've searched around but haven't found anything too fantastic. Don't want to spend a fortune, but willing to drop 2 or 3 C notes if it does what I want.

Yes, Inspector is an option, but I've read that it's not being developed or supported anymore. Also, I can't seem to find a demo of it. I need to make it will do what I want it to before dropping $300. Plus I'd like to find out what other options are out there.

Indeed, now I remember reading that. Shame, really, it's a nice piece of software (and it was free)
