Hosts file missing "fe80::1%lo0 localhost" entry?

My Mac has been acting weird for the past three days, redirecting sites I commonly use (gmail.com, outlook.com) until I get a message saying that the site can't be opened. It's there same issue regardless of which browser I use (Firefox, Chrome, SafarI). I Googled, and checked my hosts file as suggested. Everything seems fine except that my hosts file is missing the last entry, "fe80::1%lo0 localhost", which all examples of "this is what your hosts file should look like" that I've found have. I was wondering if that's an issue and what it might mean?

So, I'm on Macbook Pro, running Yosemite OS (up to date). These are the contents of my hosts file:

##

# Host Database

#

# localhost is used to configure the loopback interface

# when the system is booting. Do not change this entry.

##

127.0.0.1 localhost

255.255.255.255 broadcasthost

::1 localhost

Thanks! 😀

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)
