Q: How do I authorize my computer to itunes?

I have a ipod 5th gen that I got last year for Christmas. I just got a ipod shuffle 4th gen for Christmas this year, I tries to sync some songs but it said I need to authorize my computer. So I looked up how to do it and I think I got a idea of how to do it. But, I can't find the menu im supposed to go to. What do I do?

    For a computer running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.

    For a computer running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Authorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Authorize this Computer.
