Q: Why isn't my HDMI working on my Macbook Pro?

Background Info-

My Macbook Pro hasn't been able to hook up to my TV with the HDMI cable for about 5 months. It used to work perfectly and I have no idea what made it stop. I bought a new cable and it still doesn't work. I've tried on two TVs and the HDMI on the TVs are working, another laptop (Toshiba) hooked up just fine. My Macbook is Mid 2012, so not that old. When the cable is plugged into the Thunderbolt port and into the TV, my laptop screen quickly flashes back, as if it's about to mirror displays, but my TV says "No signal". When I go into System Preferences-Displays, it says "No devices connected."

What I've Tried-

Turn on and off Macbook.

Bought another HDMI cable.

Tried solutions from a few HDMI setup videos.

Made sure all updates were installed.

Please Help!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
