Q: iMessage is inactive and red

iMessage is inactive, all my contacts appear red and i can't send anything from the computer.

they didn't send me the verification email.

so how can i activate it ?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3)

For one thing, a MacBook Pro is not a PowerMac. PowerMacs have not been new since early 2006. You are unlikely to get any iMessage response in the PowerMac forum. Here are the forums:
