Q: AirPlay and mirroring icon missing

The icon for mirroring and AirPlay has disappeared on my iPad. I have confirmed that the wifi setting on my ipad and Apple TV are set correctly. I have switched my iPad off and on. It worked previously. Can anyone give me advice how to get the icons back?

I don't know if this will help but you can try resetting your settings in Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. Although this doesn't seem like it will do anything, often it will resolve the problem. It will not erase anything on the device but it will reset the settings to the original.

first: to get the airplay funtion on
2nd: press our finger on Apply TV
3rd: push up a little
4th: Mirroring button appearing
